What Happens in a Coaching Session
Coaching sessions are a practical, collaborative space to slow down and work with what’s actually happening in your life — without fixing, minimizing, or rushing change.
In our sessions, we focus on:
-
Understanding what’s really going on for you
-
Making sense of change without forcing meaning
-
Making deliberate choices within real constraints
-
Moving forward at a pace your life can support
How Sessions Work
Sessions are held over Zoom. You’re welcome to have your camera on or off.
After scheduling, you’ll receive:
-
A Zoom link
-
A reminder two days before your session
What a
Typical Session
Looks Like
Most sessions follow a simple structure:
-
Brief check-in - We start with what’s changed or feels most present since we last talked.
-
You set the focus - You decide what we work on. There’s no preset agenda.
-
Thoughtful exploration
-
We talk through what’s coming up and look for next steps that are realistic and sustainable. That might mean:
-
Adjusting a plan that isn’t working
-
Reframing how you’re seeing a situation
-
Naming limits that need to be respected
-
Finding a way forward that feels possible
You may leave with clarity, reassurance, or a shift in perspective. All of those count.
What This
Is - And Is Not
This is a secular, trust-based coaching relationship.
There’s no spiritual framing, no belief-based meaning-making, and no pressure to “find the lesson” in what hurt you. You won’t be pushed to move faster than your life allows.
If You're Unsure
You don’t need to know exactly what you want or be ready for change. You just need a sense that having space to think — without pressure or fixing — might help.
